About Me

BREEDING & EXHIBITING SHOW WINNING DOGS SINCE 1980

My journey in dogs started at a young age, my first litter was a litter of German Shepherds, that I whelped age 11. My interest in showing dogs began when I started reading about Yorkshire Terriers, which I owned by this time. I purchased my first show Yorkie called Beebeemi Blase who I showed with great success and became my first UK Champion. For many years, I lived and worked in London, running my own highly successful pet shop and grooming business. During this time I also showed Cats, with great success.

Eventually I relocated to Cambridgeshire where in about 2005 I first became interested in Papillons and whole new chapter of my life began. My first Papillon became Ch Frasermar Fairy Tale of Rozamie and she in turn produced Ch/Aus Ch Rozamie Moulin Rouge, a big winner in the UK and Australia. She also produced Rozamie Roxanna at Feorlig who was Joint Top Toy Brood Bitch in the UK in 2019. I have been lucky to breed many Champion Papillons and have been able to give back to the breed by assisting others with their choice of stud dogs and even whelping litters for other people.

The majority of my Champions and big winners have been male and I have always allowed these dogs at public stud. They have produced for other kennels numerous Champions and other winners across the UK and overseas, a fact I am very proud of. I very much enjoy seeing the influence the Rozamie Kennel has had on the breed and I feel I have been able to give something back.

My most famous dog is Ch Rozamie Dream Lover who entered the ring in 2013 and to my great delight swept all before him. 'Jacob' as he is known at home had an illustrious show career, which included BOB at Crufts, several Toy Group placings and the fantastic honour of winning Best in Show at Blackpool All Breed Championship Show 2016 and Ladies Kennel Association that same year. These two wins made me exceptionally proud as a breeder and even more so as they were achieved as Jacob came out of semi retirement. Not only is he a pretty dog to look at, he has also shown he is very capable of producing winners too and has sired an UK Ch and many CC/RCC winners.

Prior to my interest in Papillons, I had a great interest in West Highland White Terriers and still have this interest to this day. I had the good fortune to make up several UK Champions and was overjoyed to win the CC & BIS at the West Highland White Terrier Club of England's Centenary Championship Show, some years ago.

These breeds are a huge passion of mine but along the way I have had CC/RCC winners in Chihuahuas, Japanese Chin and Lakeland Terriers.

I am approved to award Challenge Certificates in Yorkshire Terriers and Papillons. I had the honour of judging Yorkshire Terriers at Crufts in 2011
